First of all I want to say THANK YOU to kathie. She was my pack horse. I forgot my fuel belt and so she carried my water, gu and whatever else needed. She is a GREAT!!!! Sister.

My legs were not as tired as Kathies. I had missed two training runs due to schedule issues...don't get me wrong...I was tired, but I didn't feel as drained until mile 16 or so. Kathie had also lifted very hard the day before. Kathie is the type not to complain, I didn't realize she was so tired until really late in the run. I wish I could endure pain like she can.

With all that said. I felt good about the run. I wish I felt stronger at the end, but we still have one more 20 before SGM to push and get our body ready for 26.2.

Really enjoyed seeing Smooth on this run. She looked so happy and SMOOTH, FAST and STRONG. She can lighten your spirits by just a simply Hi and a HUG.

Right after the run, I had a swim party planned with my Primary class, I hurried home to get ready for that. Had a fun time, but I am ready for a little nap!!!!

So did you swim or did you rest at the party. I came home and napped right away.

My legs are still sore. I think I will stop lifting on Fridays.

I ended up not swimming...LeeAnn's pool was only 85 degrees rather than the nice 90. I did take about a 40 minute nap!!

Naps are DA BEST after a long run!!! It was so good to see you on the trail today. Wish I had known you were running there; would have loved to meet up and run some with you. Not that I could run as fast or want to break up the fun sisterhood party though. May be we can run together some at SF1/2. Can't wait to see you, Kathie, your mom and McKenna. You did AWESOME a week after a 1/2 marathon PR. VERY NICELY DONE!

Nice job Kimmy!!!

Hmmm ... you have me thinking ... is Kathie tough enough to carry your fluids, gus, as well as mine??? That sounds like an awesome run!

Glad you got a little nap in. Take another tomorrow! :)

Wow great run with Kathie and running into Smooth. Does it get any better in a training run?? Great job.
