I HATE TEMPO RUNS.  I don't know why these are so hard for me.  I don't know if it is all in my head.

I ran a warm up mile in 9:43.  Just took it easy.  Then started my tempo

8:13, 8:19, and 8:18.  Yes, these look good, but I had to stop after each mile to get through it. I don't know why I struggle with this so bad.  I am wondering if it would be better just to stay around 8:45 and try and work down......I don't know.

Cool down mile 9:50 (I had to walk for a little while after the last mile).  My last mile of the tempo run has a really large hill and it killed me by the time I got to the top.
