Today was speed work out. I did 6x400 on a 1% incline at a 8.0 speed. I then would walk for 1 minute in between each set. I felt really good. In fact, I got the bright idea to run the last one at a 8.5 pace. That was pretty stupid. I was really tired with about .1 left in the run. When I bumped it back down to 8.0 I was so tired that last .1 really hurt. I think if I am going to increase my speed maybe in need to do the first two at a faster speed rather than the last one. |
